ABOUT THE ROLE
The Marketing & Communications Manager/Melbourne Private role is a Melbourne Private Hospital Group level role, leading and supporting the marketing and communications needs of the four St Vincent’s Private hospitals in Melbourne – Werribee; East Melbourne; Kew; and Fitzroy.  The purpose of this “hands-on” role is to create marketing and/or communication programs and content that leverage the collective reputation and scale of St Vincent’s Private Hospitals across the Melbourne metropolitan area, and ultimately to promote the St Vincent’s brand as a leading private provider of acute clinical care in Melbourne.  This individual will interact extensively with the leadership teams at each of the private hospitals (including the hospital-specific Business Development Managers) to understand the unique needs of each hospital and translate those into cross-Melbourne Group marketing and/or communications programs or tactics, as is relevant.  A key dependency of this role is that this person works closely with the marketing/communications/GPL roles at each of the Melbourne sites and with the Group marketing team to operationalise campaigns. Like the site-specific marketing & GP Liaison Coordinators at each site, this role would be measured against key KPIs related to reputational improvement and revenue-driving activity (awareness, referrals, and admissions) across the hospitals.

  • Current valid Driver’s License
  • Extensive digitally centric marketing experience essential, including hands-on digital channel management, running and measuring digitally centric marketing programs and or communications activities.
