Our client is engaged in the provision of health services in the Canterbury and West Coast region and they are seeking a Head of Coaching and Consulting Services to report to the Chief People Officer.
The Coaching and Consulting Services team serves as one of the primary face-to-face connections between the two organisations in the health sector and the People and Capability function. The team provides support, coaching and capability development and specialist consulting services to line managers and their people across our organisations. Their scope includes operational HR and employment relations; learning and development; process improvement and wellbeing health and safety.
As Head of Coaching and Consulting Services you will be responsible for engaging stakeholders in the discovery and design of our coaching and consulting service and managing the supporting programme of work. Central to the role will be the coaching and development of the specialists reporting to this role. These include subject experts in HR operations, learning and development, process improvement and wellbeing health and safety. The role is expected to be an effective and valued partner and key enabler of the vision and goals of our health systems and people strategy.
You will engage the two organisations in discovering and designing the Coaching and Consulting Services’ direction, plan and work programme. You will bring together – and create a single Coaching and Consulting team from – the specialist HR operations, learning and development, process improvement and wellbeing health hand safety subject matter experts. As with any position, you will be accountable for the measurement, management of quality and delivery along with continuous improvement will be a key part of the position. You will be a strong facilitator of relationships, communication and ways of working within the Coaching and Consulting team, across the People and Capability function, and with Executive Leaders in the organisations.
