Wesley College seeks to appoint an exceptional and inspirational leader to the position of Head of Campus for its Glen Waverley campus. The incumbent, Mr Richard Brenker, is retiring after forty years of outstanding and distinguished service to the College. The Head of Campus will report to the Principal, Mr Nick Evans, and will play a key role as a member of the College Executive.
The Head of Campus is responsible for the educational leadership and operational management of the Glen Waverley Campus, ensuring the strategic direction of the College is maintained and objectives and policies are in alignment. The campus encompasses 1300 students from ELC to Year 12 and the Head will drive an ongoing commitment to offering an outstanding education within a diverse learning environment.
The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills and a supportive and collaborative management and leadership style that nurtures, challenges and inspires students and staff. Adopting a framework of continuing improvement, the ideal Head will display high energy and strong influencing skills in addition to an advanced level of analytical and strategic thinking. The appointee will actively support the College’s holistic approach to learning and display a genuine desire to develop and support the broader school community.
Wesley College Melbourne, a Uniting Church school with a rich tradition spanning 153 years, is a diverse, dynamic, coeducational learning community with more than 3,350 students aged between 3 and 18 years across three main campuses.
