The Position
CREST Education seeks to appoint an inspirational and strategic leader to the position of Head of Campus – Hillcrest Primary. Reporting directly to the CREST Deputy Principal Campus Operations, the Head of Campus – Hillcrest Primary is responsible for implementing the CREST strategy and principal purpose of providing a Christian education of excellence for Hillcrest primary students. The Head of Campus – Hillcrest Primary role will oversee an educational and operational portfolio and will have delegated responsibility for specific designated areas of the Strategic Plan.
The role will provide strategic, operational and cultural leadership of Hillcrest Primary and the day-to-day leadership and management of learning, wellbeing and operations for students. The Head of Campus Hillcrest Primary is accountable for fostering a culture of high expectations and improved student outcomes with students and staff. The Head of Campus Hillcrest Primary will actively contribute to the ongoing development of pedagogical, staff, student, and community initiatives.
With a CREST (one school) approach the Head of Campus Hillcrest Primary works in partnership with the Executive team to set the direction for student academic learning and wellbeing programmes across the School and ensure the operational systems and processes are aligned across all sections of CREST. The Head of Campus – Hillcrest Primary works directly or indirectly with members of the broader leadership group to ensure the CREST principal purpose is promulgated and that expectations and standards are clear for staff, students, and community.
The Organisation
CREST Education precinct is located on 138 acres in Melbourne’s south-east and is part of the City of Casey. The precinct consists of six distinct components: Hillcrest Christian College, Rivercrest Christian College, Ayr Hill Equestrian Centre, an Environmental Reserve, Corporate Services and Crest Institute.
Linking each of the precinct components together, is a shared set of beliefs and values. The distinctiveness of offerings, facilities and
environments provides a high level of differentiation and a range of unique activities. The educational precinct allows a high level of synergy between the precinct components, while providing students with the best possible opportunities for high quality Christian education.
