The Position
Wesley College seeks to appoint an exceptional and inspirational leader to the position of Head of Campus for its St Kilda Road campus. The Head of Campus will report to the Principal and will play a key role as a member of the College Executive.
The Head of Campus is responsible for the educational leadership and operational management of the St Kilda Road Campus, ensuring the strategic direction of the College is maintained and objectives and policies are in alignment. The campus encompasses 1600 students from ELC to Year 12 along with 300 staff and the Head will drive an ongoing commitment to offering a outstanding education within a diverse learning environment.
The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills and a supportive and collaborative management and leadership style that nurtures, challenges and inspires students and staff. Key to success will be the ability to build and develop the professional capacity of all staff with the goal of ongoing improvement in student learning outcomes. Adopting a framework of continuous improvement, the ideal Head will display high energy and strong influencing skills in addition to an advanced level of analytical and strategic thinking. The appointee will actively support the College’s holistic approach to learning and display a genuine desire to be part of a progressive and thriving community.

Wesley College Melbourne, a Uniting Church school with a rich tradition spanning 153 years, is a diverse, dynamic, coeducational learning community with more than 3,350 students aged between 3 and 18 years across three main campuses. The school offers a rich and comprehensive program promoting not only excellent academic results, but also a concentrated focus on the Arts, Sport, Outdoor Education and Community.
