The Position
Our client is expanding their clinical services through the creation of a new operating model for the delivery of safe and high-quality care outcomes.
Reporting to an Executive General Manager, the Head of Clinical Care will lead the development and implementation of a hybrid operating model and will have responsibility for overseeing and managing the delivery of comprehensive primary healthcare and wellbeing services. The Head of Clinical Care will establish clinical policies and protocols and foster collaboration among healthcare professionals to meet the healthcare needs of consumers.
As a key clinical leader within the organisation, the Head of Clinical Care will have experience in the establishment and implementation of new services and have a level of comfort and ability to trial new ways of delivering care in a highly governed environment. With a strong focus on clinical governance, the Head of Clinical Care will work closely with the team on quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and healthcare delivery processes. Facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration, the Head of Clinical Care will support coordination efforts to optimise patient care and treatment outcomes.
The successful incumbent will be an experienced senior clinical leader (nursing, allied health, pharmacy or related disciplines) who has led teams within complex, unique service delivery environments or in the support of the delivery of large contracts. The incumbent will have previous experience in the implementation of services and be experienced with the use of technology to support the delivery of services such as virtual care environments.
With strong communication skills and the ability to strategically problem solve, the incumbent will be curious, driven and passionate about the improvement of clinical outcomes and delivery of safe and high-quality care.
