The Position
Infoxchange seeks to appoint a dynamic leader to the position of Head of Communications & Policy to provide strategic direction and leadership across all communications, marketing and public policy initiatives for the organisation.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the position will be a key contributor to organisational strategy as part of the Executive Leadership Team.
The appointee will lead the development of an integrated brand and communications strategy to maximise our impact in the community leveraging the strengths and capabilities of Infoxchange and Connecting Up.  This will include bringing together the existing marketing and communications teams and leading on public policy initiatives working with our partners.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong capacity to think both strategically and tactically. You will be creative and innovative, and present with highly developed written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional attention to detail. Presenting with an engaging leadership style and as an outstanding collaborator, the successful candidate will have a track record of managing and executing programs, combined with a strong, hands on approach to deliver in priority focus areas. Engagement and influencing skills are paramount, as well as the ability to develop strong partnerships with stakeholders including government, not-for-profits, media and corporate partners. Relevant tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field are highly desirable.

With 150 staff across Australia and New Zealand, we tackle the biggest social challenges through the smart and creative use of technology.
We work with community, government and corporate partners to solve issues around homelessness, family violence, mental health and disability, as well as supporting Indigenous communities, women, youth and families.
In November 2018, Infoxchange joined forces with Connecting Up to form the Infoxchange Group. Together, we are Australia and New Zealand’s leading not-for-profit dedicated to using technology to improve the lives of people experiencing disadvantage and the organisations that support them.
