The Position
Presbyterian Ladies College (PLC) is currently seeking to appoint an engaging and forward-thinking Head of Junior School to guide the continued delivery of outstanding educational standards while nurturing a strong sense of School community.
Reporting to the Principal, the Head of Junior School will support the leadership, development and management of all aspects of the Junior School.  Presenting with strong strategic management and communication skills the Head of Junior School will manage the complete educational program, staff development and student wellbeing and performance.   A commitment to the Christian ethos of the school will be essential to support the spiritual and pastoral guidance of the students, staff and College community.
The successful candidate will be a highly experienced educational leader with a proven background in delivering education specifically for girls.  Displaying an obvious drive and passion for primary education, the appointee will be personable and engaging, with an ability to relate to both staff and parents.  It will be essential the appointee demonstrates a strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practice, coupled with a demonstrated ability to use data to inform improvement and innovation.  A natural curiosity and desire to be involved in all facets of the operation of the school will serve the appointee well.
