The Position

Having recently placed three senior leadership positions at the Australian International School Hong Kong (AISHK), Fisher Leadership is delighted to continue our partnership with AISHK in an exciting new project to place 10 key positions within the school.

AISHK seeks to appoint a Head of Performing Arts to join their highly talented, enthusiastic and collaborative teaching team and to contribute to a culture of continual improvement at the school.

The Head of Performing Arts is a P-12 leadership role and reports to the Head of Primary and Head of Secondary and works collaboratively with the School Executive Team. The Head of Performing Arts will be responsible for developing an inspirational, engaging and dynamic performing arts programme and for developing the vision to deliver an exemplary international standard of education and performance.

As a specialist teacher, the Head of Performing Arts teaches the ACARA curriculum across Primary and the NSW curriculum and IB Diploma programmes across specified year levels in Secondary and works in collaboration with school systems and personnel to ensure optimum student learning.

The Organisation

Situated in the Kowloon Tong District of Hong Kong, Australian International School Hong Kong (AISHK) is a non-profit, co-educational day school for students from Reception to Year 12.

AISHK is the only Australian International School in Hong Kong and it provides a world class international school experience where students achieve their personal best and graduate as skilled, influential, compassionate and responsible citizens. Students in Years 7-10 complete the NSW Stage 4 and 5 curriculum. In Year 11 and 12 the students have a choice of either the NSW HSC or IB DP.
