The Position 

Brimbank City Council is seeking a Head of Project Management Office to lead the Project Management Office (PMO) team and enhance the delivery of projects by establishing, implementing and maintaining a standardised project management strategy and framework, including relevant processes, policies and tools.   

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role will have overall responsibility for the efficient, effective, and professional functioning of the PMO, including leading the development, implementation and achievement of strategic and operational business plans to meet Council objectives.   

The ideal candidate will have outstanding leadership and excellent analytical and strategic problem-solving skills. It will be important to demonstrate flexibility in thinking and be able to adapt and respond to organisational change.  This person will promote project management best practices and will inspire and develop team members to consistently provide exceptional service to the business and deliver results.
