Interim Chief Executive Officer

Our not-for-profit Client is seeking an Interim Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through a significant period of change. The Chief Executive Officer will manage the organisation on a day-to-day basis and is accountable to the Board for the achievement of external and internal change goals and the application and improvement of its operations.
The Interim CEO will provide strategic direction to the organisation whilst developing and executing plans to achieve financial robustness. The appointee will lead all operations to ensure that fundraising opportunities are maximized, particularly through corporate, government and philanthropic funding streams. The successful candidate will be required to represent and advocate for the organisation in public forums, and integral to this position is the strengthening and maintenance of key stakeholders and networks, including donors, supporters, state and local government agencies, volunteers, community organizations and the wider community.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a proven track record of leading complex organisations. You will have proven management of teams, experience in contributing at an Executive level and working with Boards. Skilled in implementing strategy, you will display a hands-on approach and the ability to engage with a diverse range of people and groups.  Experience within the Not-for-Profit sector would be an advantage.
