The Position
Reporting to the Director Communities, the Manager Community Partnerships will provide visionary and effective leadership to the Community Partnership Department and strong management support to the Director Communities.
This role will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality community development and programs, community grants, inclusive communities, volunteers, cultural heritage and civic and community events.
The leadership team has renewed and is seeking a manager to join the organisation who is outcomes focused, gets close to local communities and offers innovative ways of working.
We are seeking an inspirational people leader who will play a critical and influential role in Council Plans. With a proven community mindset, it will be imperative for this person to establish and nurture relationships with community groups including first nations and youth engagement.
You will bring strong community development experience, and ideally have managed customer services as part of your career journey.

Campaspe Shire is a vibrant rural community located in northern Victoria in the heart of one of the richest and most diverse agriculture and food processing regions in Victoria.
Best known for its history, natural assets, and relationship with Australia’s iconic Murray River, which winds along the northern boundary with New South Wales, the unique mix of great weather, culture, food and wine, natural assets and events attracts increasing numbers of visitors and residents to the Shire each year.
