The position
Ambulance Victoria is seeking to appoint a highly talented, driven and dynamic leader to the position of Manager Contracts and Business Performance.  The position will develop and lead strategic operational business performance, including statewide private provider contract management, enabling effective and optimal service delivery across the organisation
Reporting to the Director Operational Logistics, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring delivery is in accordance with customer and contractual requirements whilst delivering a high quality, timely, efficient and cost-effective business management service. Developing strategies to manage issues and drive continual improvement in service delivery, processes, productivity, quality, cost control and customer service will be key elements of this role.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader, with experience in cost/benefit analysis modelling, data metrics analysis and complex contract negotiation.  You will have significant experience with the management and implementation of supply chain management methodologies, including financial, resource, contract and supplier management processes.  Equipped with excellent stakeholder relationship management and communication skills, you will be action-oriented and results driven.  A highly experienced professional with a track record of delivering outcomes and being held to account, coupled with the ability to hit the ground running.  A tertiary qualification in business is essential
