The Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) seeks an outstanding Manager Governance, Policy and Quality to ensure that it has the frameworks; structures processes and documentation in place to achieve its performance objectives and be accountable for its operations.  The role will lead and coordinate research and analysis to support the Commissioners in the development of policy, driving quality management and continuous improvement strategies.  This key role also leads ASQA’s planning and reporting functions in accordance with the respective legislative, policy and reporting frameworks.
Reporting to the General Manager, Regulatory Support and Governance, this role leads a small team who provide support to the Commissioners and the operations of ASQA. The position regularly contributes to a number of ASQA governance committees and forums.
With demonstrated experience in quality management, corporate governance and reporting in a government setting, the ideal candidate will have high level analytical and conceptual skills and outstanding written and oral communication abilities.  The ability to manage complex projects through to completion is essential, as is knowledge of the VET regulatory system.
