The Position
This influential role leads a team of around twenty professionals who deliver high quality and efficient planning across land use & development, infrastructure, transport, sustainable urban design, and open space.
Reporting to the Director City Planning and Community, the successful candidate will have the proven capability to provide expert technical, operational and strategic planning advice and recommendations to the Director, CEO and Councillors.
Success in this position requires an inspirational leader with experience in developing multi-disciplined and integrated teams that achieve innovative community outcomes. Strong collaboration, a highly collegiate approach and excellent stakeholder and communication skills are essential. Qualifications in urban planning, urban design, public policy, or related field are expected.
