The Position

A fabulous opportunity to make your mark. Bring your leadership engagement and experience of digital transformation in complex and integrated business settings to influence enablement of technology. Lead innovation and collaboration across key streams:  digital transformation, continuous improvement and service excellence so that technology and digital services provided are meeting the needs of the organisation now and into the future.

Reporting directly to the Director Corporate Services, the role will strategically manage, plan and coordinate services, programs and projects. In partnership with the executive management team and Council’s transformation team, you will deliver on a robust project methodology that ensures all projects invested in deliver measured benefits, in alignment with strategic direction and governance expectations. The position is responsible for leading a large and diverse team and actively engaging across the wider organisation.

The successful candidate will thrive in influencing and engaging with leaders, employees and stakeholders to embed a culture of robust and sustained change and continuous improvement. You will bring a track record of delivery and oversight of a transformation strategy including working knowledge in digital technologies, infrastructure and security and in particular in continuous improvement in a large and complex organisations.

Ideally you bring postgraduate qualification, e.g. IT, Innovation, Business, Management, or relevant discipline.
