The Position
Brimbank City Council is modernising to enhance service delivery, further develop the organisational culture, upgrade technology and improve organisational efficiency to improve customer experience.
The primary purpose of this senior role is to develop and execute the people strategies in support of the Council Plan and the Organisational Strategy. The role provides strategic leadership to develop an inclusive and high performing culture while providing effective and efficient people services that support the health and wellbeing of the workforce.
Working closely with the CEO and the executive and senior leadership teams, the Manager provides strategic leadership to deliver desired organisational change and whole of employee life cycle, organisational capability, support and processes.
Reporting to the Director, People, Partnerships and Performance, this position supervises the People, Culture and Wellbeing team (including payroll), employee relations, learning and organisational development, diversity and inclusion, recruitment, injury management and OH&S.
You will bring a track record of strategic leadership and achievements in the management of a broad range of people and culture strategies within a complex medium to large sized organisation. Having a reputation as a trusted adviser in organisational development and change, you will be ready to proactively partner with the organisation’s leadership to deliver on a contemporary path forward.
