The Manufacturing Industry Skills Alliance seeks to appoint a strategic and forward-thinking Senior Manager of Manufacturing Workforce Intelligence. Â In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and implementation of workforce strategies to address current and future workforce challenges, ensuring the continued success of modern manufacturing in Australia.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this newly created position will lead the research team and the training products and project Team. The position will play a key role in supporting the development of the workforce plan, analysing workforce trends, identifying skills gaps, and driving initiatives to address current and future workforce challenges. Drawing on high quality evidence, analysis and broad stakeholder consultation, the Senior Manager will gain strategic insights from the evaluation, monitoring, and reporting on the impact of skills gaps, training interventions, workforce strategies and program performance.
As the Senior Manager, you will demonstrate expertise in workforce analysis and planning with proven leadership skills and the ability to lead change and strategic direction. The ideal candidate will be skilled at applying strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify key strategic insights. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build effective relationships and partnerships with industry, government and other key stakeholders.
The role is based in Melbourne, although consideration may be given to the position being based in another capital city. An attractive remuneration package and flexible work options are available.
