The Position
This leading independent school in the eastern suburbs seeks to appoint a Marketing Manager to ensure a consistent and innovative presence in the independent school market. Reporting to the Principal, the Marketing Manager is responsible for renewing and developing the marketing strategy, with responsibility across the portfolio encompassing the positioning of the School’s brand, digital marketing and communication with key stakeholders. This role assumes responsibility for all marketing and communications activities with the aim of engaging local, national and international audiences to increase the profile of the school and enrolments.
The ideal candidate will be inherently creative, with a hands-on and can-do attitude. The appointee will demonstrate capability in relation to not only developing the strategy but subsequently delivering the operational services from reporting, copywriting and graphic design, to brand, reputation and campaign management. The successful applicant will demonstrate experience gained in other school or university environments, or alternatively in service sectors such as retail, banking and real estate.
With demonstrated experience in the full range of marketing, writing, public relations and communications activities, the appointee will possess the skills to create and deliver engaging digital and online content.  The successful candidate will have excellent relationship management skills, demonstrate high levels of creativity and attention to detail, and a hold a genuine interest in girls’ education.
