The National Heart Foundation (Heart Foundation) is seeking to appoint an outstanding leader as the next National Manager Revenue. This is an opportunity to join the leadership team of a trusted and iconic national organisation committed to improve heart disease prevention, detection, and support research and application to heart health.  Overseeing all revenue driving activity, you will be responsible for growing diverse income streams, appropriate commercial opportunities, and growth of a sustainable network of Heart Foundation supporters.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the national revenue team to meet annual income and growth targets, along with managing the national revenue budget including vendor relationships as well as major gifts, philanthropy, bequests and corporate partnerships.
The successful candidate will be committed to the Heart Foundation’s vision, mission and values and be a strategic, and outcomes focused leader with a commitment to continuous improvement.  You will bring high level commercial acumen, business development experience, combined with strong negotiating and influencing skills.  Exceptional interpersonal skills are critical, along with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Extensive success facilitating corporate partnerships and alternate revenue streams, alongside the development, implementation and evaluation of integrated multi-channel fundraising, sales or business development strategies is essential, along with an understanding of fundraising legislation and regulation.
Tertiary qualifications and demonstrated equivalent experience in a relevant business discipline such as fundraising, sales/marketing or business development are required.
The role can be located in any capital city in Australia.

Every day, the Heart Foundation supports Australians when they need it most, speaks out on behalf of the community on heart heath issues, empowers people to reduce their disease risk, and works with health professionals and researchers to find new ways to better manage and treat heart health. The work has had a major impact on the survival rates of those suffering a heart attack and those living with heart disease, however coronary heart disease is still Australia’s number one killer, taking 50 lives every day.
