ANU Enterprise and the Social Research Centre seek an independent Non-Executive Director and Chair for the Board of the Social Research Centre (SRC).

The incoming Chair will provide leadership and strategic vision for the organisation, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer.

With demonstrated experience as a Non-Executive Director, board or committee leadership, you will bring a sound knowledge of corporate governance principles and structures, with a contemporary outlook and the ability to remain at the forefront of best practice.  A track record of leadership through change and outstanding business acumen will be essential, with a strategic mindset and the ability to drive efficiencies and seize commercial opportunities.

The Organisation

Established as a private company in 2000 and acquired in 2014 as a fully-owned subsidiary of ANU Enterprise Pty Ltd on behalf of the Australian National University, the Social Research Centre (SRC) provides the Australian social research community with access to world-class research and evaluation services, including research design, survey management, statistical consulting, qualitative research, data science applications, evaluation, analysis and reporting.
