The Position
Our client is a regionally based environmental and irrigation organisation seeking to appoint an experienced Policy Manager with a knowledge of the water and agriculture sectors. This role is responsible for leading policy development and advice, working closely with stakeholders and consultants.
Reporting to a key executive in the organisation, the Policy Manager will be a specialist in the field and operate independently and autonomously. The role requires knowledge of research methods and the capability to deliver high quality reports, project briefs and tender documentation. Strong stakeholder communication skills are a must including persuasive presentation and the capacity to publicly represent the organisation.
With a willingness to work flexibly and collaboratively, the successful candidate will have worked across industry bodies, stakeholders and government. Tertiary qualifications are required in science, law, business or a related discipline.
