The Position
Moama Anglican Grammar seeks to appoint an exceptional and inclusive educator and leader to the position of Principal. The Principal is responsible for the ongoing leadership and management of the school, with a focus on driving the quality of education and academic practices while also developing and supporting a strong community focus.
Reporting to the Board, the Principal will be responsible for the overall management of the School operations including the education and welfare of students, supervision and professional development of staff and the successful delivery of the strategic plan. The Principal will actively work to promote the values of the School and enhance its standing and reputation in the community. The Principal will drive the implementation of effective, contemporary teaching and learning strategies while maintaining a focus on the individual child with a commitment to delivering excellent student learning outcomes.
The successful candidate will be a contemporary educational leader who displays exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a nurturing approach and the ability to inspire trust and engagement from all members of the school community. With demonstrable experience in leading and executing a vision and strategy in a complex educational environment, the appointee will possess well-developed strategic leadership skills and the ability to manage productive change. The ability to foster a positive culture along with an open and collaborative leadership style will be essential to developing and sustaining the School’s commitment to future learning. The successful candidate will be a highly visible and inclusive leader who demonstrates a dedication to the development of students through pastoral care, co-curricular and service programs that complement the academic program. The Organisation
Moama Anglican Grammar is a co-educational, independent Kindergarten – Year 12 Anglican School with an open entry policy located in Moama, NSW. Commencing in 2005 with only 16 students, the School has grown to nearly 662 students and has developed into a thriving educational community.
The focus of the school is on each student as an individual, seeking to assist each of them to achieve their potential. Moama Anglican Grammar aims for students to develop a strong sense of honour, caring for themselves, others and the world they live in.
