The Position

Highview College seeks to appoint an exceptional educator to the position of Principal. The School Board seeks to appoint an inclusive leader who will embrace the philosophy of the school while using their own educational leadership and experience to create a legacy for future generations to enjoy.

Reporting to the Highview College Board, the incoming Principal will be responsible for the overall management of the School operations including the education and welfare of students, supervision and development of staff and successful development and delivery of the next strategic plan.

Candidates will be progressive and contemporary in their personal and professional approach with an understanding of how to grow and develop a school in a regional setting. In addition to demonstrating the qualities of a successful leader, it is essential the appointee has a strong ability to relate to and build confidence in the community.

Highview College is an Ecumenical coeducation secondary school, serving years 7-12 located in Maryborough, Victoria.

The College aims to provide accessible education to foster optimal growth of the whole individual and at the same time strives to develop the Christian values of excellence, compassion, trust, honesty, respect, diversity, tolerance, understanding and inclusion.
