The Organisation

Canning College pioneered international education within the Department of Education, Government of Western Australia, commencing its service to overseas students in 1982. Teachers at Canning College have helped thousands of students progress to universities in Perth, across Australia and to many parts of the globe.

Canning College provides a unique suite of curriculum for its international students, much of which is developed in conjunction with Western Australian universities. The College offers Year 10, Year 11, Year 12, Certificate IV UAP, Diploma of Commerce, and Bridging preparation courses leading to Year 11 and 12 programs.  It is essential for the Principal to maintain and further develop this curriculum for the College to provide curriculum pathways.

Canning College operates 52 weeks a year to support international marketing, teaching and business requirements. We take particular care to ensure our students under the age of 18 years have appropriate arrangements made for their welfare and accommodation, and the Principal assumes the role of guardian for these students who do not live with a relative.
