The Position
Ambulance Victoria seeks to appoint a collaborative and driven Program Lead, Multicultural, to join its newly established Equality & Workplace Reform Division.  The Program Lead, Multicultural will play a key role in designing, coordinating and improving Ambulance Victoria’s program of work to create a safe, fair, inclusive work environment and services for employees, first responders and patients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Reporting to the Senior Lead, Diversity & Inclusion, The Program Lead, Multicultural, will play a key leadership role in the development, implementation and evaluation of culturally responsible programs and activities, applying best practice techniques and methodologies for workplace reform. The Program Lead will apply evidence based codesign and change management principles and strategies and deliver inclusive practices and targeted culturally and linguistically diverse programs across Victoria.
The appointee will have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing diversity, inclusion and engagement projects and change, with particular focus on strengthening outcomes for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.  With a strong knowledge and understanding of both Victorian and Federal equal opportunity and human rights legislation, policy and frameworks, the Program Lead will bring sound understanding and experience in large scale change management.  Highly developed communication skills, excellent stakeholder engagement with a diverse range of partners and personable attributes of resilience, empathy and adaptability will also be key to the success of this role.
