The Position
Ambulance Victoria (AV) seeks to appoint an experienced Program Officer to join its newly established Equality and Workplace Reform Division. The Program Officer will contribute to the implementation and design of AV’s program of work to create a safe, fair, and inclusive workplace.
Reporting to the Program Lead, you will be responsible for high level program and project documentation, support and coordination that contributes to the end-to-end design and delivery of the collective and integrated equality and workplace reform program.
The successful candidate will participate in the design and delivery of the equality and workplace reform, completing project support, budgets, briefs, and proposals for the team. Working closely within the team preparing risk management processes to deliver on reform goals and objectives.
With strong stakeholder engagement, The Officer will develop working relationships across the division and work collaboratively to achieve organisational outcomes.
This role requires someone with previous program and or project management experience within a large organisation and culture change environment. Someone with exceptional attention to detail, a demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a complex environment and the ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight timeframes, including strong planning, organising and time management skills to prioritise tasks, manage conflicting priorities and achieve outcomes within required timeframes.
Advanced computer skills, familiarity with Internet applications and proficiency of Microsoft Office suite are essential for this fast-paced role.  Key to success in the position will be a collaborative approach and positive mindset.
