Edith Cowan University (ECU) seeks a dynamic and experienced project manager to lead the people and culture stream of the exciting new ECU City project.  This stunning venture is a visionary initiative, that will expand ECU’s presence in the heart of Perth, fostering innovation and enriching the educational experience.  The state-of-the-art facility, due to open in February 2026, will enhance student life, research and community engagement.

Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, the Project Lead, City Campus will play a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end planning and delivery of a range of projects, acting as liaison between project sponsors and functional support areas to gather high-level business requirements and support project delivery.

As a core member of the University’s project management team, the Project Lead will work closely with the Project Management Office and leverage expertise of the People and Culture team, to ensure successful planning and delivery of the people and workplace workstream.  This includes planning of project outcomes, benefits, deliverables, resources, budget, communications and risk management.

With relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience in the end-to-end management of significant projects, including relevant planning, monitoring and reporting activities, the ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a track record of leading change at an enterprise level.  A skilled communicator, you will have strong influencing ability and be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
