The Positions
This mission and values-based aged care service provider, VMCH, seeks to appoint two talented professionals to Residential Services Managers (RSMs) positions; one based in Clayton and the other based in Balwyn. The RSMs will manage all aspects of residential care with a strong focus on delivering high quality person-centered care to each and every resident.
Reporting to supportive Regional Managers and working with capable and committed teams, the RSMs will provide leadership, and mentoring to ensure the provision of care is delivered in accordance with the Aged Care Act and Aged Care Accreditation requirements. In addition, the RSMs will lead the day-to-day operations of their respective homes including staffing, rostering, budgets, ACFI and bed occupancy. The RSMs will champion continuous improvement and facilitate an environment where staff can be innovative by identifying and implementing innovative and creative practices.
Equipped with relevant tertiary qualifications, the successful candidates will ideally be Registered Nurses with current AHPRA registration and have previous experience gained working in a Facility Manager or Residential Services Manager role. They will have a sound understanding of the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards as well as a proven track record in achieving Accreditation. They will present as astute, with strong business acumen and knowledge of ACFI and aged care funding coupled with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteers – demonstrating patience, common sense and a commitment to customer service. Working knowledge of Icare management systems will be advantageous.
