Respect Victoria is a new organisation, established as a Statutory Authority under the Prevention of Family Violence Act 2018 on 4 October 2018 to provide leadership in the prevention of all forms of family violence and  violence against women.
Respect Victoria is working towards a Victoria free from violence, where all Victorians are equal, empowered and respected, at home and everywhere.  Prevention means stopping violence before it starts, by changing the culture that allows it to happen. Respect Victoria is focused on the prevention of all forms of family violence for all Victorians. No matter their gender, age, sexuality or cultural background.
Respect Victoria provides advice on policy and program reform to improve the way Government, organisations and the community prevent family violence.  This includes setting standards, building and testing outcomes, advising government on the suitability of funding, and communicating, raising awareness, and engaging with the community on family violence prevention.
Respect Victoria is currently recruiting seven essential positions to support delivery of our key functions in the areas of research, evaluation, communications and engagement.

Manager Research and Evaluation (RSVmre1118)
This position will lead, develop, implement and evaluate integrated research and evaluation initiatives in line with Respect Victoria’s mandate.  This will include setting standards, building and testing outcomes, and driving integrated and evidence based family violence and violence against women prevention activities in pursuit of long-term social change.

Senior Advisor Research and Evaluation (RSVare1118)
This position will lead strategic evaluation and research activities, including research and evaluation governance and activity for Respect Victoria, in order to establish world-leading standards, the building and testing of outcomes, and driving integrated and evidence based prevention activities, including developing an approach to the monitoring of trends in the primary prevention of family violence and assessing the outcomes of programs.

Senior Research Project Management Officer (RSVarp1118)
This position will lead and manage the implementation of strategic projects with key internal and external stakeholders to help inform the development of frameworks, guidelines, policies and standards required to drive quality primary prevention programming in Victoria, including monitoring, assessment, and endorsement of programs carried about by government, organisations and community.

Manager Communications & Engagement (RSVmce1118)
The position will lead the development and implementation of an innovative and comprehensive communications strategies for Respect Victoria, including establishing communications systems, structures and governance as a foundation for success, leading strategic internal and external communications, brand management, public relations, media and social media engagement, community awareness and behaviour change campaigns, publications and collateral, and strategic stakeholder engagement and events.

Senior Advisor Campaigns and Media (RSVacm1118)
This position will be responsible for leading and establishing innovative, evidence based and world-class communications campaign and media strategies to engage all Victorians in family violence prevention awareness raising, education and behaviour change.  Responsibilities include developing, leading, procuring and delivering long-term social and behavioural change campaigns, based on extensive market and other research, and based on successful leading behavioural change approaches in other sectors, to address the drivers of family violence and violence against women, and systematically build a strong primary prevention approach over time.

Senior Advisor Stakeholder Engagement & Public Relations (RSVace1118)
This position will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating integrated, engaging communication strategies, including leading and coordinating effecting stakeholder engagement and public relations strategies, campaigns and initiatives.   This includes establishing innovative and nimble stakeholder engagement and management systems and processes, as well as the production and distribution of communications and collateral and events for a range of audiences, projects and purposes.

Digital and Social Media Coordinator (RSVads1118)
This position will be responsible for leading and establishing innovative and comprehensive digital and social media engagement to address the drivers of family violence and violence against women with the community. This includes establishing relevant systems, processes and products, including working across all of Respect Victoria’s social media channels and Respect Victoria’s website, to plan, create and publish engaging and relevant digital content in line with the Respect Victoria’s mandate.
