Risk and Compliance Manager
- Commercial Legal, Risk and Compliance experience
- Knowledge of Risk and Compliance Management in an educational context
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Camberwell Grammar is seeking to appoint an outstanding leader to the position of Risk and Compliance Manager to continue to update and align the risk management and compliance management processes across the School. These range from accreditation audits, child safety and other legal regulations, WHS and school events. While significant advances in the development of policies & processes, risk and compliance have been made the School acknowledges its ongoing obligations in this regard. The role will also be responsible for contracts review and maintenance of the contract register.
This position reports directly to the Business Manager and will report into the School Board – Governance, Risk and Compliance Committee.
As an experienced and contemporary professional across legal, risk and compliance, the incoming Risk and Compliance Manager will demonstrate confidence in engaging with and presenting to staff on critical issues. The successful candidate would be someone who knows how schools operate but does not necessarily need to have worked in a school. Candidates with general commercial legal, risk and compliance experience will be considered favourably.
