| ● Join Monash University’s largest research faculty ● Lead business and professional services teams ● Contribute as a key member of the senior leadership team The Position An exciting opportunity exists for a School Manager to join the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health. Reporting directly to the Head of School, the successful candidate will lead a team of 12 in the delivery of business and professional shared services, including management of NHMRC and research funding; budgeting and financial planning; research services; academic programs; external relationships; recruitment; communications planning; and resourcing. Working closely with the Head of School, the School Manager will contribute to shaping and actioning local strategic, business and operational plans. As a key member of the leadership team, the successful applicant will demonstrate outstanding stakeholder management skills, high level leadership capability, and proven success operating at a strategic and operational level. The ability to navigate complexity, whilst maintaining a focus on governance and risk management will be critical to success. A relevant postgraduate qualification, extensive senior management and budget management experience are essential. The Organisation Monash is a university of transformation, progress and optimism.
