The Position
Ambulance Victoria (AV) seeks to appoint a highly talented monitoring and evaluation specialist to join its newly established Equality & Workplace Reform Division in a senior management capacity. This position will initially drive the monitoring, evaluation and performance reporting of the organisation’s response to the Victorian Equal Opportunity Human Rights Commission (VEOHRC) Review, and over time other key workplace reforms. AV is expected to make meaningful change against discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying and victimisation and this role will be fundamental to the Board and other stakeholders understanding the effectiveness and sustainability of the reform measures.
Reporting to the Executive Director Equality & Workplace Reform, the Senior Manager Program Monitoring & Evaluation will drive comprehensive, complex analysis to measure workplace equality recommendations and reforms and will lead the implementation of a continuous performance monitoring and reporting system, enabling the identification of improvement opportunities. A key expectation of the role is for the organisation to tell the story of its reform journey transparently and back it up with data.
The successful candidate will have extensive management level experience in a quantitative data analysis and reporting role in a complex environment. They will have a deep understanding of the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, as well as the use of domains, indicators and metrics to identify baselines and progress against those baselines. The incumbent will also be skilled in the strategic interpretation of analysis to support the development of effective improvement strategies. They will have strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills and will be known as an outstanding leader who is a clear, concise and accurate communicator, They will have an exceptional ability to present data in a way that is clear for a range of audiences and will be able to draw insights in terms of what the data looks like and progress of the organisation against report recommendations.
