The Organisation
McKinnon Institute for Political Leadership (MKI) is a non-partisan organisation committed to contributing to a better future for Australia by raising the standard of political leadership in Australia through providing professional development for aspiring and established political leaders and their advisors.  McKinnon Institute was formed from a partnership between the Susan McKinnon Foundation and Monash University, with an aim to generate significant, long-term benefits for Australia and to build Australia’s future capacity to meet social and economic challenges.
 
The Opportunity
As Senior Programs Manager, you will provide expert consultative support and educational guidance to internal teams and external partners, in designing and developing curriculum and assessment, including the use of technology platforms to enhance learning outcomes.  Reporting to the Academic Director, you will lead educational design for both online and face-to-face environments. With a focus on rigorous evaluation and advancing Program offerings, you will establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external partners and associates to enhance content curation and educational outcomes.
This position is offered on an initial 2-year fixed term contract with attractive benefits and genuine flexible or remote work options from anywhere in Australia.
 
About You
McKinnon Institute is seeking a talented Senior Programs Manager with exceptional teaching and learning expertise and relevant postgraduate qualifications.  You will be abreast of the latest developments in program development to create highly relevant and dynamic content and deliver an outstanding user experience.  Strong project management ability and well-developed communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective delivery. Knowledge of political leadership or similar executive education experience is highly regarded, although not essential.
