Reporting to the Executive General Manager of Client Services, the Service Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Client Services growth strategy and the operational management of staff in the regional centre and a number of satellite offices across their region. Strategic and resilient, the successful candidate will have sound knowledge of evidence-based practice, client-centred philosophies and an appreciation of how these relate to service delivery for people who are blind or vision impaired would be advantageous. Proven relationship and stakeholder management capability with regional communities, superior communication skills, strong influencing and negotiating skills, high emotional intelligence and an empowering leadership style to recruit and develop high performing teams are skills and attributes which will contribute to success as a SM. Well-developed administration skills are also a pre-requisite to the self-sufficient approach to reporting expected.
