The Position

The Team Leader – Service Improvement will be responsible for the development and implementation of a new service management framework and business improvement methodologies to enhance and optimise services.

The position will lead Council’s service planning & reporting function and embed business improvement practices across the entire organisation, ensuring that they are designed and implemented with a customer focus.

The position will lead the team and work closely with the broader Customer & Transformation team, to engage the organisation in the team’s functions and drive the benefits for individual work areas.

The ideal candidate will bring significant knowledge of service planning and business improvement frameworks and methodologies.  A track record in leading strategic and operational programs at an enterprise level, coupled with strong people leadership and project management skills will be key to success.  Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships are essential requirements. The successful candidate will hold or be working towards a relevant tertiary qualification.
