Allison Beckwith has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of Banyule City Council

Allison, the recent appointee to the position of Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for delivering Banyule City Council’s unrelenting focus on customer service, sustainability, financial performance and strong corporate governance.

With a significant track record in local government in both Executive and Senior Management roles, Allison is passionate about leading the Council towards its goals. She brings extensive experience across both internal and external key stakeholder relationships including with the local community. Allison most recently led Banyule’s community programs with a substantial operational budget and team. Allison’s leadership of several key development projects has resulted in considerable outcomes for the Council. In 2017, she was awarded in the Top 50 Public Sector Women in Victoria.
