Chris Harris is the new Director Education at William Angliss Institute

Chris Harris has been appointed as the Director, Education at William Angliss Institute to deliver outstanding and contemporary outcomes in a highly competitive market.  This role plays an integral role in leading the education and compliance agenda across WAI, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional learning experience for students.

Based in Asia for the past ten years, Chris brings strong academic management experience across the vocational and higher education spaces, with a particular focus on hospitality, tourism and events.  Most recently the Chief Operating Officer of the At-Sunrice Global Chef Academy in Singapore, he has led a range of commercial and education partnerships and has been responsible for the end-to-end student experience.  Chris previously spent seven years at Kaplan Higher Education in Executive Dean and Head of School positions and held earlier Head of Hospitality School roles at Berjaya University College of Hospitality in Malaysia and the International College of Management in Sydney.  Throughout his 12-year career in education, Chris has championed and led the development, integration and management of experimental learning, online learning content and blended learning pedagogy, as well as leading and personally contributing to research in this space.
