Dr Cecilia Hoi Man Ng is the new Clinical Trials Network Manager at Jean Hailes for Women’s Health

Dr Cecilia Hoi Man Ng is the new Clinical Trials Network Manager at Jean Hailes for Women’s Health, a key role that oversees the development of the National Endometriosis Clinical and Scientific Trials network.  This project will build a national research platform that underpins a comprehensive national program of clinical, basic science and translational research relevant to the needs of those with endometriosis.

A subject matter expert, having completed her PhD thesis on the characterisation of endometrial and blood proteomes of women with different types of endometriosis lesions, Cecilia continued her work in this area for her postdoctoral research at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and University of Sydney, where she brings considerable experience in the development and implementation of clinical trials, the establishment and management of biobanks and also involvement in patient recruitment drives.  More recently working as a Medical Science Liaison at Vifor Pharma; Cecilia led the medical strategy in Women’s Health and Gastroenterology, where she also organised and established local and international advisory boards, conference symposia, state-based dinner meetings and national speaker tours.
