Joanna Quilty is the new Chief Executive Officer at the New South Wales Council of Social Services

Joanna Quilty is the new Chief Executive Officer at the New South Wales Council of Social Services (NCOSS), where she will provide strategic leadership to the business and its staff and also to membership and the sector more broadly in NSW.  This important position influences social policy and service delivery to bring tangible benefits to the lives of people experiencing poverty and disadvantage.

Joanna has a deep understanding of the social services sector, with a career that began in community development, social policy and human rights advocacy roles and latterly returned to this focus.  She held the Deputy CEO position at NCOSS for a year in 2013, plus roles as Director of Operations for Relationships Australia NSW and General Manager, NDIS Transition for Flourish Australia.  An experienced executive within the NSW public sector, Joanna is a former Deputy Director General with Transport for NSW, where she led major policy, planning and reform initiatives.
