Julia Mason is a new Board Member for Respect Victoria at the Department of Health and Human Services (VIC). Julia is an experienced chairman and director on private company, government authorities, and not-for-profit boards and holds key roles in governance, building a new board, and is an experienced sub-committee chair. With over 20 years’ experience in strategy, finance, and operational roles in large and small organisations, and in Asia, across a variety of industries and not-for-profits she has proved her success in business operations and is accomplished in corporate and business development, and strategy. Her roles have included Executive Officer for National Stem Cell Foundation of Australia along with being a Member of the Foundation’s Finance and Investment Committee and Science Ethics Committee.  Julia was previously the Group Manager for Corporate Strategy with Sensis (Telstra). Prior Board Experience includes, among others, Board member of Community 21, Investment Committee Member for Alchemy Ventures, Non-executive Director for Traffic Accident Commission and Executive Chairman of One in Five.
