Lisa Bale is Director, TAFE Learning, Teaching and Quality at Federation University

As Director, TAFE Learning, Teaching and Quality at Federation University, Lisa Bale partners with key internal and government stakeholders, providing strategic advice with regard to VET regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant agencies.  Representing FedUni TAFE on relevant committees, she also facilitates the mentoring of teaching staff to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.

Lisa has over 25 years’ experience as an education manager, with extensive experience in competency-based learning and assessment.  Experienced in working at international levels, she has designed and developed VET learning programs aimed at developing capacity in the sector.  Lisa previously led a team at TAFE NSW, focussed on VET legislation compliance and the utilisation of innovative models of teaching and learning.  She has also designed and delivered a number of international VET qualifications, including Certificate IV training and assessment to student cohorts in locations China, Timor Leste, Nepal Singapore, Malaysia and Ghana.
