Lisa Davidson, the new Manager of People & Culture at Horsham Rural City Council

Positive HR leader contributing to source best practice people solutions

Lisa Davidson is the new Manager of People & Culture at Horsham Rural City Council where she will provide strategic and operational leadership in developing and delivering organisational and people capacity to meet the current and future needs of the council.

Lisa brings demonstrable human resources experience from the public and private sectors. Joining VECCI (now VCCI) in 2009, Lisa most recently led workplace relations advice and service operations for its members and clients, including financial leadership of these services and management of highly skilled advocates, trainers and advisors. In her first three years at VECCI, Lisa transitioned the department resulting in delivering a significant return for the advocacy fund. She was also called to act as media spokesperson for workplace relations issues. Lisa’s additional experience includes her leading of the people and culture function for Voyages Hotels and Resorts which manages several resorts, including Ayers Rock. Lisa directly managed the Business Partners to deliver a range of HR services across a large cohort of staff. Earlier she held a senior ER advisory role at DHS and during this period held several acting positions including HR Manager, following a HR Advisor role for VIC/TAS at Spotless Services Australia.
