Malcolm Bradshaw is the new Head of Maths for Melbourne Grammar School

Malcolm Bradshaw is the new Head of Maths for Melbourne Grammar School, where he will provide leadership for the faculty, developing the Mathematics programme within the framework of the aims and strategic goals of Melbourne Grammar School along with providing operational management.

Malcolm is an experienced classroom teacher of over 10 years and previously held the position of Head of Mathematics at Scots College in Wellington, NZ.  Malcolm led a team of ten direct reports and had oversight of Mathematics education across the middle and senior schools. In this role Malcolm was responsible for the professional development of all mathematics staff in addition to reporting to senior management on goals for the department and results.  In his teaching role Malcolm worked with classes from Year 7 through to Year 13.  In addition, Malcolm held the position of Assistant Director of Boarding, involving him in the day to day organisation and running of the boarding house including staff and student rosters and communications with parents. A key aspect of this position is providing pastoral care for those students in the boarding house.  Previously Malcolm spent nearly two years in the United Kingdom with Ewell Castle School in Surrey as a Mathematics Teacher in addition to holding the position of Head of House during his second year.
