Natalie McLennan is the successful candidate for the Head of Campus role at Woodleigh School

Natalie has established an exceptional educational career, developing her leadership capability at her latest position of Head of Greenways Campus at Mentone Grammar School.  Natalie originally joined Mentone Grammar in 2006 teaching Visual Arts, Studio Art and Visual Communication Design in middle and senior years.  During this period Natalie introduced a Year 10 Photography and Visual Imaging course leading to the implementation of a VCE Digital Photography Studio Arts Course.

In 2012 Natalie was appointed as the Head of Mentone Grammar’s Year 9 Greenways Campus. Over the course of that year, she applied extensive research along with her experience in education to design a program and space which supports the specific developmental needs of Year 9 students. The campus opened in 2013 and has proved to be an outstanding success with exceptional student achievement and increased enrolments.  Natalie was a member of the School Executive and worked with the team to implement two successful Strategic Plans resulting in enhanced programs and strong academic results.  Natalie worked closely with staff to develop a cohesive team, managed significant organisational change with all stakeholder groups, and introduced a number of additional programs to challenge students such as a community service program, fitness challenge and Greenway’s Café.  Throughout her time at Mentone Grammar, Natalie was involved in many different areas across the School including the Head of White House, a swimming coach, cadets, set design for productions, hiking and countless camps.  She also held senior pastoral care roles, building on her passion for building and developing connections with students.

Earlier in her career, Natalie held teaching roles across the art spectrum at Wesley College, Loreto Mandeville Hall and Ivanhoe Grammar School (Ridgeway Campus).
