Nick Moraitis has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer at Foundation for Young Australians

FYA is one of Australia’s most impactful not-for-profit providers of social and economic research, strategic initiatives and thought leadership for young Australians.

Nick is a senior executive who has worked for nearly 20 years in positions focussed on systems-change, digital, youth and organisational transformation in Australia, New York, Toronto and London.  In January 2013 Nick founded Centre for Australian Progress and has held the position of Executive Director since that time.  The organisation works to strengthen the capacity of non-profits to create systemic change, and runs Australia’s leading advocacy training, conferences and incubation programs.

Previously Nick was the Co-founder and CEO of the Make Believe, a boutique consultancy providing strategy, management and communications advice to not for profits. Earlier roles have included Public Engagement Manager with Greenpeace Australia Pacific and Online & Outreach Director with GetUp. Nick has also served on numerous non-profit boards.
