Sandra Christians is the new Manager, Governance, Policy and Quality at the Australian Skills Quality Authority

Sandra Christians is the new Manager, Governance, Policy and Quality at the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), leading a team to provide support to the Commissioners and the operations of the organisation.  This key role also regularly contributes to a number of ASQA governance committees.

Sandra began her career as a professional analyst and has many years’ experience providing advice to executive and senior levels in complex environments.  At the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission for over 14 years, she held the role of Manager, Strategic Planning, Governance and Performance since 2010, managing the corporate and operational governance of the ACIC.  Sandra has also managed the agency performance team and has established the planning and performance frameworks for the ACIC (and its predecessor agency the Australian Crime Commission) including ensuring the agency is meeting Public Governance Performance Accountability Act reporting requirements and chairing a cross-agency law enforcement working group on performance.
