Leading a transformative impact on the lives of students

Shane Kamsner will be the next Principal for Rossbourne School, where he will provide the best practice in specialist education by promoting a relevant and diverse curriculum together with a high level of dedication to the Rossbourne School community.

Previously Shane held the position of Head of Student Development with Carey Baptist Grammar School.  In this role Shane managed a department of 40 staff within a multi-discipline framework integrating wellbeing and teaching/learning programs to support students’ holistic educational and emotional needs. Additional programs and plans that have been developed by Shane include formal support plans for students with significant mental health issues, transition programs for highly anxious students and protocols and processes to manage and support school refusers

Prior to joining Carey Shane was the Middle School Manager for Mount Waverley Secondary College.  He has also undertaken lecturing roles at both Australian Catholic University and University of Melbourne
