Rob LoPresti has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer with the Australian Physiotherapy Association. In this position Rob will drive ongoing growth within a world-class membership-based organisation. Rob will report to the Board and support the design and implementation of the strategic plan to advance APA’s vision, belief and purpose, building on its excellent reputation and position at the forefront of the profession.

Originally training as a Physiotherapist, Rob has assumed a diverse range of executive roles over the course of his career, however the common tread throughout all of them is finding ways in strengthen the capacity of individuals and the health sector more broadly.

He is well accustomed to managing professional sector development and advancement, complex and high profile matters with stakeholders, and understands the machinations of government from an advocacy perspective. His style is engaging, and he likes being connected to the life blood of the organisation.
