Yvonne Amos is the new Director of Foundation at Northern Health

Yvonne Amos is the new Director of Foundation at Northern Health. Yvonne has worked in the not-for-profit sector since 1998 for a number of health charities including St Vincent’s Hospital, Meningitis Foundation, Royal Blind Society and SIDS and Kids. Her most recent position was that of General Manager, Marketing, Communications and Income Development with Red Nose. Yvonne managed a team of eleven marketing, communications and income development staff. In October 2016 Red Nose (formerly SIDS and Kids) finalised a rebrand and merge project which moved them to a single entity organisation. Yvonne worked on the rebrand project, coordinating development of websites, collateral, social platforms, brand guidelines and communications plans. In the new structure Yvonne had oversight of the breadth of fundraising streams for Red Nose, including corporate partnerships (national and state), community fundraising, telemarketing, direct mail and Red Nose Day.

Prior to this Yvonne was the National Marketing, Fundraising and Communications Manager for SIDS and Kids Australia. As part of the national office, Yvonne managed national partnerships and fundraising activities that had a national impact. Leading a team of two fundraising, event and marketing staff, Yvonne developed new corporate and cause related partnerships, managed internal and external communications to a range of stakeholders, developed smart phone applications to support education programs, and managed online fundraising activities.

Previously Yvonne managed the fundraising, marketing and PR activities for CREATE Foundation nationally as National Marketing & PR Manager. The scope of this position included all organisational communications, websites, corporate partnerships, online fundraising, grant applications and other fundraising opportunities. Yvonne’s earlier career included additional state based roles with SIDS and Kids, fundraising work with Meningitis Foundation and event work with the Royal Blind Society.
